I was very pleased with Blake and his company. He demolished my mobile home on March 2, 2026. He also placed some of the parts of my mobile home that I plan to use for other purposes on another part of my lot. He did encounter a problem with a power wire very near the top of the side porch of the mobile home, but he saw that the problem was remedied to my satisfaction. The job site was left clean. I was impressed with Blake and have his company in my office go to file for any future work that needs to be done. Thanks Blake.

Excavation/Grading FAQ
Common questions about excavation/grading in Horry County, SC.
Yes, grading is required before construction begins on any new home in Horry County. It sets the correct slope, removes unstable material, and prepares the ground for a solid foundation.
Yes, regrading your yard in Horry County redirects water flow away from low spots and toward proper drainage paths. Sandy coastal soil in the area can shift over time, making regrading a practical fix for persistent pooling.
Grading moves and levels soil so your lot drains correctly and sits at the right elevation for building. In Horry County, that often means cutting high spots, filling low areas, and compacting the soil to a stable density.
Yes, excavation removes loose or soft material before a driveway pad is built in Conway. Skipping this step leads to settling, cracking, and uneven surfaces over time.
Signs include water pooling near your home, soil washing away after rain, or uneven ground that makes mowing or building difficult. A site assessment from Grand Strand Disposal can confirm whether regrading will solve the problem.
